E!: What’s your favorite Jonas Brothers song?
JJ: I wrote a song called “Hesitate” that’s always hard to sing live because it’s from the bottom of the heart. And on the fun side, we played a lot of old stuff. Our shows in Vegas, we made a conscious decision to make every show different and no song is in the same place. And so we played Still In Love With You, which was really fun and brought me back. “Sucker” is the one you’ll always sing and feel like you don’t need to sing [because] The crowd sings it to you.
E!: I turned 33 not too long ago. Three should be fine for you: 33, you have three siblings, three DNCE members.
JJ: definitely. I am approximately 33 years old. I play jokes, but I really like getting older. We rise. Every year, I learn something new about myself and the people around me. It’s been a great year so far and I’m really grateful.
E!: What are your hopes for your 33rd year?
JJ: I hope to continue to do so. It’s pretty broad, but I’m lucky enough to be able to do it. I’m grateful enough that I do this every day – because I do what I love for a living. I’d like to play more shows, another big round.
