It wouldn’t be a royal wedding in Westeros without a little bloodshed.

Surprisingly, the chaos at the rehearsal dinner of Princess Rhinera Targaryen (Millie Alcockand Sir Lenore FellarionTheo NateIt was not because of the Demon Prince TargaryenMatt Smith), Rhaenyra’s uncle who has been disinherited and has an uncomfortable fixation on the princess.

Instead, the drama at hand is made by Ser Criston Cole (Fabian Frankl), Rhinera’s lover and divided protector. if from exactly Was Sir Creston killed? Sir Geoffrey Lonmouth (Sully McLeod).

But, before we move on to the brutal confrontation, let’s explain how the Knights ended up in this situation.

Earlier in the episode, Queen Aliscent (Emily Carrey), Rhaenyra’s former best friend and current stepmother, questioned Ser Criston about a rumor that Rhaenyra was seen being intimate with her uncle at a brothel. However, Ser Criston did not realize that Alicent was asking for Daemon and went on to admit that he had slept with the princess, breaking his vow as a member of the Kingsguard.
