The Captain Marvel The actress got real about how difficult it is to portray superhero flicks during an exclusive interview with E! News at Disney’s D23 show, but she said conventions like the ones that make all the hard work worth it.
“It’s really encouraging because you’ve been doing something in secret on your own for so long,” Larson explained. “It’s good to have these reminders that these are really important stories that mean something to people and can change the course of someone’s life.”
The work itself is “compensatory,” Larson added, “because you push yourself to the limit and force you to go places you might not go, outside your comfort zone.”
And when the room “Push yourself to the limit,” the actress says, she means it. Larson told E! News. “It’s long days and it can be a lot emotional, and then you add on top of that that physical aspect where you’re wired 50 feet in the air, doing the fight sequences.”
